The process of implementation was so easy and I went through the API documentation to have a broader idea of the capabilities and what kind of endpoints I would have to use, what kind of data I would have to send, etc. For me, it was very easy to set it up and I did it in less than one day.
What business problem did Veriff solve for SaaS Production?
SaaS production was developing new workflows for a customer in the ecommerce space that specialized in renting computer equipment and hardware. This business had been the victim of chargeback fraud, where goods had been shipped and never paid for, and wanted to develop a mechanism for verifying and vetting customers to ensure their transactions would be genuine and secure.
Fahrner had worked with Veriff before and was familiar with the solution offering, believing it would be a perfect fix for his customer’s problems.
“I personally had already used Veriff in other tools,” he explained. “So I knew a little bit about the flow and that it was a great tool, so we tried it and we were happy with that.

“It is such a reliable system that once it is in place there is not much work that needs to be done to support it, which is perfect for our customers.

What was the impact of implementing Veriff?
The main driver of implementing Veriff into their customer’s onboarding flows was to eliminate fraud, but there have been some unexpected additional benefits too.
“I am in regular contact with our customer and was asking them this week if the identity check tools that we set up were giving them the expected results and they said yes, and they had eliminated chargeback fraud since we set up this new tool for them.
“There were dozens of invalid documents and screenshots of documents which were reported and properly denied access to the leasing product. So for this matter of stopping fraud – Veriff is doing exactly as we expected.
“But the customer also likes the integration into HubSpot. That way they save a lot of time and they can integrate it into their workflows as they wish.
“And from an end-user perspective, the customer experience has improved because decisions are made more quickly, there is a great support for customers to help the get verified, and I think also the customers appreciate it because they know that it’s for their own security and it’s also showing that the company cares for their security and has implemented some tools to keep them and their data safe and secure.”
