The Engineering team at Veriff is leading the charge to combat the online identity crisis, employing cutting-edge technologies to ensure our platform remains innovative and secure. As we navigate the fast-paced landscape of online security, we're seeking fresh talent to join our ranks, bringing diverse perspectives and new possibilities to our team.

Joining our Engineering division means stepping into a pivotal role within our organization. As the right hand to the CTO in all product platform matters, you'll play a crucial part in driving forward our product-related initiatives but also in elevating our organizational maturity. Collaboration is paramount here; you'll work closely with our Director of Product, your counterpart, our Chief of Staff, all the Area Leads in charge of our several product lines, and Staff Engineers. Additionally, championing initiatives to keep Veriff ahead of the curve across Product & Engineering is a core aspect of this multifaceted role.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

Collaborating with Product to deliver end-to-end world-class products, and impacting our growth and the digital world.
Recruiting, inspiring, and developing top talent, fostering highly engaged teams with a focus on psychological safety, ambition, and accountability.
Driving relentlessly for operational excellence and ensuring the availability and quality of service delivered to customers, managing risks, and addressing tech debt promptly.
Maintaining productivity and engagement by monitoring roadmaps, metrics, and delivery predictability, while aligning OKRs across Product Engineering with the company's mission.
Acting as the primary stakeholder to Platform Engineering regarding Product Enablement, emphasizing feedback loops and treating the platform as a product.
Contributing to Product & Engineering strategy, translating it into actionable plans, and collaborating with leadership to communicate and implement it effectively.
Driving transparency on engineering investments' returns, operational excellence, product delivery efficiency, and impact on business objectives.
Staying updated on technology trends, including AI, and effectively steering technical conversations.
Preparing the organization to scale by 2x within two years without compromising productivity or engagement.

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

Experience navigating the challenges of a scale-up environment.
Proficiency in establishing end-to-end product development processes.
A demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives in a scale-up setting.
A proven track record of building highly engaged teams that drive tangible results.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire a wide audience.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in uncertain environments.
Thought leadership in optimizing technical architecture and workflows to maximize efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs.
An understanding of modern practices in machine learning and data science, or a strong motivation to learn.

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

Background in cybersecurity or digital fraud.
Experience in delivering and maintaining modern-AI based solutions.
Knowledge of SRE and GitOps practices.
