Here's our update on how we've been preparing for iOS 14 support in Veriff.

iOS SDK

We've performed extensive testing for compatibility with iOS 14 starting from its early beta versions, and we identified that the Veriff SDK works well with iOS 14 without any technical glitches, based on our knowledge.

Since the changes in iOS 14 Beta 6, Apple introduced an additional permission request, which also affects the Veriff SDK. To negate this, we recently released Veriff SDK version 3.2.0 which removes the need for end users to grant the additional permission.

We would encourage all our clients to upgrade to the newest version of the SDK.

In addition to that, we've been testing Veriff SDK against the soon-to-arrive Xcode 12. We're ready to release an Xcode 12 compatible version as soon as Apple releases the final version of Xcode 12.

Web

We've performed extensive testing of the Veriff Web interface on various iOS 14 beta versions and we are confident that everything works as normal.
