We've had a few big updates which have stood alone over the past couple of months, but find out about a couple of the small, but no-less-important updates we made in March and April.
Look, we know it’s been a while since we’ve published an update about the Veriff product. But it’s not like we haven’t been busy. In case you missed it:
On top of all of that though, we’ve got two big updates to share about the data extraction in our verification flow and how it keeps on getting better.
We now extract the CPF number from Brazilian documents. CPF stands for Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas, and all Brazilians, as well as permanent residents of Brazil must have one. So where the ‘personal number’ field used to be empty after a Brazilian document was captured, it’ll now be filled by the CPF.
It’s an extra data point for clients who may find it useful in determining the realness of their Brazilian users.
A little while ago we launched category extraction for driver’s licenses, to help out our wonderful mobility clients - but this was specifically for the B category. However now we’ve added to our category extraction collection, with A & AM now able to be extracted along with B!
This means you’ll know if your user can drive cars and motorcycles up to certain weights, which is obviously very helpful when you’re renting out vehicles for private or commercial use.
And for March and April, this covers it. Well, it covers everything we can say publicly. We’re always working behind the scenes to build new products and features to further enhance the incredible service Veriff offers to its clients.
