Veriff’s Team Grows 17 Times in One Year
Veriff continues enlarging its team and client base. A year ago Veriff had only 18 employees, whereas this week the headcount reached 300. The number of employees has grown by 17 times over the last year making Veriff one of the fastest-growing start-ups.
40 percent of Veriff’s employees come from abroad making Veriff one of the most international companies in Estonia. People from Veriff’s team hold a citizenship from more than 40 different countries. The largest communities in Veriff are from Brazil, Georgia, Nigeria, Russia and the United States. Unlike many tech companies, the male-female balance in Veriff is rather equal - respectively 53 percent are men and 47 percent women.
Veriff's team has been actively hiring both from Estonia as well as from abroad. It’s impossible to find people with the right skills in such a large scale in a limited period of time only from Estonia. The company also used Jobbatical to handle the immigration process when hiring from abroad and participated in Enterprise Estonia’s program Career Hunt.
Veriff is an online identity verification company that protects businesses and their customers from online identity fraud and abuse by making sure that a person is who they claim to be. With the help of artificial intelligence, Veriff analyses thousands of technological and behavioural variables to make sure that a person is who they claim to be.
