Robust and Secure: ISO/IEC 30107-3 tested by iBeta
Veriff Biometric Liveness conforms with ISO/IEC 30107-3 for testing Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) Level 1.
What is it?
iBeta is an independent biometrics testing lab accredited by NIST/NVLAP (NVLAP Testing Lab Code 200962). iBeta Quality Assurance conducted Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) testing in accordance with ISO/IEC 30107-3. ISO/IEC 30107-3 establishes:
- principles and methods for performance assessment of presentation attack detection mechanisms;
- reporting of testing results from evaluations of presentation attack detection mechanisms;
- classification of known attack types
What does it mean?
During their testing of Veriff’s biometric liveness technology, iBeta was not able to gain unauthorized access with Presentation Attacks (PA’s) yielding an overall PA success rate of 0%, which equates to the overall combined Imposter Attack Presentation Accept Rate (IAPAR) of 0%. Independent testing ensures our biometric technology functions to the highest standards.
